Kerry Stith

Strategy & Planning Specialist Sr

 Pittsburgh    Joined PNC: 1999

I am proud to work for PNC because the leaders of this company demonstrate that delivering results for shareholders, while simultaneously valuing customers, communities and employees, can be achieved.

In my current role, I work with internal partners and external third parties to manage financial business cases and external vendor onboarding for the Lending Transformation program. The work I do has a direct impact on PNC’s Retail Lending customers. The Lending Transformation program is implementing integrated home lending originations and servicing technology platforms to improve the customer borrowing experience. Ideal skills to be successful in my role include accuracy and attention to detail, resourcefulness, problem solving, effective communication and driving for business results.

I work in workspace with no assigned office or workstation. There are meeting rooms and other quiet spaces when I need to conduct meetings. I also work in a paper-less environment, which seeks to minimize paper. Admittedly, this took some getting used to, but PNC provides tools like OneNote, which really lessens the reliance on paper.

I am a leader with PNC ENABLE, our disability awareness employee business resource group (EBRG), and was a past leader with our Pittsburgh African American EBRG. My participation is impactful both personally and professionally. I have family members with disabilities, so I am passionate about creating disability awareness, as well as making PNC a more inclusive environment for customers and employees with disabilities.

I am an avid reader of Christian, professional development, leadership and other non-fiction topics. I also enjoy spending time traveling with family. I am a big fan of Pittsburgh professional sports teams. To unwind, I will indulge in the occasional Netflix binge.

Define success on your own terms, and don’t allow others to define it for you.  Don’t aim for perfection; aim for growth – which occurs when you’re outside of your comfort zone. Don’t allow mistakes to paralyze you, but rather embrace them as learning opportunities. Seek out mentors and confidants both inside and outside of your organization.
