Tellers conduct their work with strict guidelines and have to be consistent, precise, fast, fun and exciting. The customer is already familiar with the transaction process and routine, and I make the process friendly and predictable so that he or she is at ease and confident.
Each customer provides a challenge that must be completed perfectly. The whole day is full of friendly interactions and the variety makes the day seem to fly by. When it's time to lock the doors at the end of the day, my coworkers and I are laughing and making plans. Loan Support Specialists play an integral role within our team-oriented atmosphere, helping consumers and businesses meet their financial goals. This position offers the unique opportunity to learn about the entire consumer and commercial loan documentation process, from origination through the life of a loan. Loan Support Specialists must follow established policies and procedures to complete daily responsibilities, such as data entry and tracking and gathering information. This job helps to build both confidence and competency in an important operational area of our company.

"From my first day at new employee orientation, I knew I had made an excellent life decision in joining PNC.
I work as part of a team that's meeting our customers' needs for auto loans. It's my job to review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure that all compliance guidelines and approval conditions have been achieved. That means working with car dealers too, to finalize calculations, close the sale and get the customer out on the road.
I like that PNC has innovative banking products, as well as traditional simple interest installment loans that are easy to understand. But what I truly like best about PNC and my job here is the flexibility I have with my teammates and supervisor. Many of our commercial banking customers use the PNC lockbox service for receiving customers' payments. Lockbox employees collect and process these payments and then directly deposit them to the company's account. This helps businesses manage their account receivable and excel their cash flow.
Lockbox Supervisors work in a team-oriented atmosphere, handling an array of activities throughout PNC Operations and Lending Services. They provide direction to an assigned team of employees to ensure that established production goals, processing deadlines and service-level commitments are met. Supervisors must have strong reasoning and analytical skills to manage relevant operating and workflow procedures and resolve any issues or problems that arise. They are also expected to support continuous employee growth and advancement in line with PNC's commitment to individual development.

"In the world of Lockbox, the midnight shift gets the day jumping and bumping! My team and I understand very well that the site's success relies upon how well we begin the day.
Our responsibilities revolve around receiving and processing payments mailed to PNC business customers. We also scan the checks and the other documents so clients can see the images online or get a file with their information. Plus, our system gives clients different reports about the payments they received.
Lockbox receives 75 to 85 percent of the incoming mail volume on the night shift, so our overnight processing and deposit activity is an essential part of how receivables management performs. Processing a high volume of work definitely challenges us to keep productivity and quality high."
