Customer Care Center | Summer Internship Program Details

Program Overview

The Retail Banking Summer Internship Program, Customer Care Center track, offers interns a deeper understanding of critical Care Center functions and roles including sales, support, small business and service.

Interns will learn how to assist customers via phone, email or online chat, providing personable service to create a better customer experience without having to visit a branch.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Formal/Virtual Training (Core Service New Hire Training; Core Service Nesting Rotation)
  • Mentorship and Job Shadow
  • Department Exposure (including Compliance/Risk; Service Excellence; Reporting; Business Analytics; Workforce; Human Resources and Retail Branches)
  • Technical, Business and Soft Skill Development
  • Working with customers and opportunity to lead a team

The Summer Internship Program is a direct pipeline for talent into the Retail (ACCEL) Early Career Development Program, Customer Care Center track, providing interns with an unparalleled opportunity to learn the business while gaining visibility among the firm's senior leadership.

Upon successful completion of the Summer Internship, interns may be offered an opportunity to join the Retail (ACCEL) Early Career Development Program after graduation.

Preferred Areas of Study: Sales, Management, Communication or related majors

Desired Skills: Leadership, Customer Service, Flexibility, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Communication, Risk Management and Problem-Solving. 

Minimum Requirements: Undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year school or university, 3.0 GPA.
