Summer Internship Program Details

Program Overview

The Technology Summer Internship Program allows interns to gain exposure to three main roles within the Technology & Innovation organization: Business Systems Analyst, Application Developer and Infrastructure Analyst based roles.

Interns will help drive innovation through a diverse and talented Technology team that provides creative, agile and efficient solutions for our businesses and our customers.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Interns may be part of an Agile Team writing and grooming user stories, release and sprint planning, writing functional and non-functional requirements and partnering with our developers to code and test various applications.

Interns may assist in developing and implementing application systems, creating detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple application programs.

Interns may also be invited to attend Town Halls to listen to guest speakers within Technology & Innovation as well as other lines of business.

The Summer Internship Program is a direct pipeline for talent to the Technology Early Career Development Program, providing interns with an unparalleled opportunity to learn the business while gaining visibility among the firm's senior leadership.

Upon successful completion of the Summer Internship, interns may be offered an opportunity to join the Technology Early Career Development Program after graduation.

The program is a dynamic experience which prepares participants for various future career opportunities within Technology & Innovation, including: Business System Analyst, Application Developer or various Infrastructure roles.

Preferred Areas of Study: Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems

Desired Skills: Strong technical and/or MIS background and are passionate about learning and development within the Technology side of the Financial Services industry. Strong problem solving, organization, and written and verbal communication skills. 

Minimum Requirements: Undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year school or university, 3.0 GPA
