William A. Kosis is Chief Executive Officer of PNC Business Credit.

Kosis joined PNC Business Credit as Chief Executive Officer at its inception in 1997. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of IBJ Schroder Business Credit. He started the asset based lending division of IBJ Schroder Bank & Trust. He began his career in the management training program at G.E. Capital.

Kosis received his B.A. from Penn State University and his MBA from the University of Connecticut. He also completed post graduate work at the Graduate School of Credit and Finance at Stanford University.

Kosis is a member of the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association), enjoys yoga and is an avid poker player.

Lee LaBine

SVP & Chief Operating Officer

PNC Business Credit


Lee LaBine is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for PNC Business Credit. He directly supports the CEO of Business Credit and is responsible for overseeing Field Exam, Underwriting, and Operations, as well as business administrative functions, including regulatory and compliance activities, business resiliency and operational risk.

LaBine joined PNC Business Credit in 2002 as a vice president and relationship manager and has 20+ years of experience in asset based lending and highly leveraged, secured lending transactions with a variety of institutions in Chicago, IL. He began his career as a loan officer for American National Bank & Trust Co. of Chicago.

In 2007, LaBine was promoted to portfolio manager for PNC Business Credit’s Upper Midwest Region, later promoted to senior vice president, and was named a Chairman's Circle Award Winner that same year. Most recently, LaBine managed the Business Credit loan portfolio for both the Upper Midwest and Canada.

LaBine is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and received his MBA from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.

Gail K. Bernstein

EVP & National Investment Manager

PNC Business Credit


Gail K. Bernstein is Executive Vice President and National Investment Manager for PNC Business Credit. She is responsible for oversight of the cross-selling of all PNC Bank products and services to current and prospective PNC Business Credit clients.

Bernstein joined PNC Business Credit to open its West Coast office in 1998 as Western Region Marketing Manager. Previously, she was National Sales and Marketing Manager for Wells Fargo’s asset-based lending unit. Bernstein was also Senior Credit Officer and National Marketing Director for Signal Capital Corporation’s asset-based unit, and Managing Director of Bank of America’s Latin American Private Banking division.

She received her B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and her MBA from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Bernstein also completed the Smith Management Program at Smith College. 

She serves on the executive committee of the National Commercial Finance Association and is Vice Chair of the education committee, in addition to serving on the board of the Los Angeles Chapter. Bernstein’s active memberships include the Commercial Finance Association (board and various committees), the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, the Women’s Leadership Council and the Jonathan Club.

George G. Cole, Jr.

EVP & Director of Internal Controls

PNC Business Credit


George G. Cole, Jr. is Executive Vice President and Director of Internal Controls for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of PNC Business Credit’s Underwriting, Field Examination, and Operations groups nationally, including regional offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago and Pasadena.

Cole joined PNC Business Credit in 2003 and has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial finance and middle market lending. He began his career with Mellon Bank in the asset-based lending group after successfully completing the bank's credit training program. While at Mellon, Cole held various senior management positions in field examination, underwriting, business development and relationship management.

He received his B.A. from Widener University.

Cole is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and previously served on the board of the Cherry Hill Atlantic Little League. 

Peter J. Mardaga

Peter J. Mardaga is Chief Executive Officer, Asset Based Lending Group for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for all asset based lending activities.

Mardaga joined The PNC Financial Services Group in 1992 and has been with PNC Business Credit since its formation in 1997. He has served in a number of senior sales, portfolio and managerial positions within PNC Business Credit and was also Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Mardaga was Western Division Executive. He began his career with First Union Bank. 

Mardaga received his B.S. and MBA from Fordham University.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association) and the Turnaround Management Association.

W. Craig Stillwagon

W. Craig Stillwagon is Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the Southeast, PNC Business Credit UK, and the Retail Finance group.

Stillwagon joined PNC Business Credit in 1997. Most recently, he served as Eastern Division Executive. Stillwagon has over 35 years of experience in middle market lending and business development, including experience with Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) and CIT Business Credit. He began his career with Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC) in the NYC Midtown Commercial Lending Group after successfully completing the bank's Accelerated Credit Training Program.

Stillwagon received his B.A. from Denison University and completed post graduate work at the University of Nevada.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association.)

Brian MacConnell

EVP & CEO, Specialty Products

Brian MacConnell is Executive Vice President and CEO, Specialty Products, for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of PNC Business Credit’s specialty lending products, including Steel City Capital Funding, a provider of cash flow and 2nd lien financing; the Technology Finance group, which leverages the recurring revenue of sponsor-backed software companies; and the Cerberus PNC Senior Loan Fund LLC, a provider of large first-out cash flow financings.

MacConnell joined PNC Business Credit in 1997 as one of its founding members, with responsibility for oversight of the creation of more than $6 billion in new client loans in support of middle market leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Eastern Division Executive for PNC Business Credit.

MacConnell received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and his MBA from Rutgers University.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association), and the Turnaround Management Association.

David Gaito

EVP & Division Executive

PNC Business Credit


David Gaito is Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for Canada, the Northeast and the Upper Midwest.

Since joining PNC in 1999, Gaito has held several positions within Business Credit. He has been a relationship manager, business development officer, senior originator, team leader across several of PNC’s regions and Upper Midwest sales manager. Most recently, Gaito served as region executive for Canada, the Southeast and the Upper Midwest.

He received a B.S. from Saint Vincent College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Gaito is a member of the Commercial Finance Association Institute, the Commercial Finance Association Society of Chicago, the Turnaround Management Association and serves on the board of the Chicago Children’s Theater. He is also actively involved in youth sports through the Oz Park Baseball Association and the Northside Basketball League.

Charles Garoklanian

SVP & Northeast Region Manager

Charles Garoklanian is Senior Vice President and Northeast Region Manager for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the Northeast.

Garoklanian joined PNC Business Credit in 2001 as Senior Vice President and Northeast Marketing Manager. He has nearly 30 years of corporate banking experience beginning with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co., where he completed the bank’s management and credit training program. Garoklanian has extensive experience in both asset-based lending and leveraged finance, largely developed at Fleet Capital and Deutsche Banc. At all three banks, he was responsible for market coverage of private equity groups, investment banking firms and other middle market intermediary groups. Garoklanian received his B.B.A. from Baruch University. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.

Mark Kiskorna

Mark Kiskorna is Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the Midwest and the Mid-Atlantic.

Prior to his promotion to Regional Executive, Kiskorna was the regional sales manager for the Midwest. Previously, he was a business development officer in PNC Business Credit's New York office. Kiskorna has over 25 years of experience in asset based and cash flow lending and business development. He began his career in the management training program of Northern Trust Bank in Chicago. Kiskorna has also held various lending positions with Fremont Financial Corp. and FINOVA Capital Corp.

He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Kiskorna is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association.)

H. John Tyler III

EVP & Division Executive

H. John Tyler III is Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the West and the Southwest, which includes the group’s portfolio of energy loans.

Tyler joined PNC as a senior business development officer in 2002, following PNC’s acquisition of National Bank of Canada’s U.S. asset-based portfolio. He then became the Southwest marketing manager and subsequently Southwest region manager.  Prior to joining PNC Business Credit, Tyler was a vice president with National Bank of Canada’s asset-based lending division. He began his career with Whitney National Bank in the Credit and Corporate Lending departments, specializing in middle-market commercial transactions across the Gulf South region.

Tyler received his B.S. from the University of New Orleans.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association.) Tyler has served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement and is actively involved with Volunteers of America, the United Way and Literacy Instruction for Texas.

Michael S. Wagner

EVP & Group Head, Vendor Finance & Channel Finance

Michael S. Wagner is Executive Vice President and Group Head for PNC Business Credit’s Vendor Finance & Channel Finance businesses. He is responsible for executing growth opportunities within the Vendor Finance business, including fully leveraging synergies with Channel Finance to achieve growth objectives.

Wagner joined The PNC Financial Services Group in 1992. Wagner was a regional manager with sales and portfolio responsibilities for the Philadelphia asset based portfolio at PNC Bank. With the formation of PNC Business Credit, his roles included Sales Manager, Regional Portfolio Manager for the middle market, healthcare, and asset based products in the Mid-Atlantic. Wagner also served as Eastern Portfolio Manager and was Region Executive for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Most recently, he served as Portfolio Manager for Steel City Capital Funding. He began his career in the credit training program at Continental Bank and served as a marketing and portfolio officer for Fidelity Bank.

Wagner received his bachelor’s degree from Drexel University.

He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and served on the National Board of Trustees. Wagner is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and has served in various officer capacities with the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association.)

 

Brian Conway

SVP & Southwest Region Manager

PNC Business Credit


Brian Conway is Senior Vice President and Southwest Region Manager for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of new business development and portfolio management for the Southwest Region.

Conway joined PNC in 2005 as a relationship manager in New York and subsequently transitioned into a business development officer role for the Northeast.  In 2014, he relocated to Dallas after being promoted to Southwest Sales Manager and served in this capacity through July of 2019 when he was promoted to Southwest Region Manager. Conway’s career began at Valley National Bank and spans over 20 years in middle market and asset based lending. 

He received his B.S. in finance with honors from Montclair State University.

Conway is a active member of various industry organizations including the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network.

Michael Bloomenfeld

Michael Bloomenfeld is Senior Vice President and National Investment Manager for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of the cross-selling of all PNC Bank products and services to current and prospective PNC Business Credit clients. Bloomenfeld also oversees the PNC Business Credit Database & Marketing team.

Most recently, he served for nearly 20 years as PNC Business Credit’s Southeast Regional Marketing Manager and was responsible for new business activity in Florida, Georgia, South & North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas.

Bloomenfeld joined PNC Business Credit in 2002 following PNC’s acquisition of a significant portion of the National Bank of Canada’s U.S. asset-based portfolio. Employed by the National Bank of Canada for over 10 years, he was the group vice president responsible for managing the Eastern U.S. Bloomenfeld began his career in 1983 in Southeast Bank’s (now Wells Fargo) credit training program.

He received his B.S. from the University of Florida.

Bloomenfeld is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association.)

Paul Beveridge

Managing Director

Paul leads PNC Business Credit in the UK and has over 34 years’ experience in the Asset-Based Lending arena. Paul has successfully set up and established three ABL businesses since the late 1990’s, the last of which was acquired by PNC in November 2010.

Under Paul’s leadership, the business has grown from a new Start Up in 2006 to one of the UK’s leading Asset-Based Lending businesses with in excess of £2bn of commitments under management.

Paul is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth in the UK and Commercial Finance Association (Europe).

Walter B. Hill

SVP & Group Head, Steel City Capital Funding

Walter B. Hill is Senior Vice President & Group Head of Steel City Capital Funding for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for Steel City and related first out cash flow offerings through one team focused on providing the best solution for the opportunity based on investment strategy and capital allocation. 

Hill joined PNC in 2002 and has served in several sales and treasury management roles, including business development officer for PNC Business Credit’s Upper Midwest region. He was most recently responsible for key unitranche partnerships through first out offerings.

Hill is the recipient of multiple sales awards, including the Summit and Chairman's Circle awards. He received his B.S. from Penn State University.

Hill is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.

David Mengel

SVP & Group Head, Technology Finance

Technology Finance Group


David Mengel is Senior Vice President & Group Head for PNC Business Credit's Technology and Finance group. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the Technology Finance group nationwide.

Mengel joined PNC in 1998 as Segment Executive for the Energy, Metals & Mining group. He subsequently held a series of leadership positions across PNC, including portfolio management, and was National Head of Originations for Steel City Capital Funding. Prior to joining PNC, Mengel held positions of increasing responsibility for U.S. Steel, Chase Manhattan Bank and Armco, Inc.

Mengel received his B.S. from Lehigh University and his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

George G. Cole Jr. is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for PNC Business Credit’s Vendor Finance business. Most recently, he served as Director of Internal Controls with responsibility for managing all activity for PNC Business Credit’s Underwriting, Field Examination and Operations Groups internationally. Cole began his career with Mellon Bank in the asset-based lending group after successfully completing the bank's credit training program. While at Mellon, he held various senior management positions in field examination. underwriting, business development and relationship management.
