He has structured solutions in domestic and cross-border transactions for public utilities, rural electric cooperatives, transit authorities, tax-exempt entities and multinational corporations.He also has experience with arranging media financings for feature length film and television productions.
Jenkins focuses on financing large fixed assets such as renewable energy and traditional electric generation, transmission and distribution projects, manufacturing facilities, real property, aircraft, rolling stock, vessels, oil & gas assets and all types of equipment. In addition, Jenkins has experience in arranging film and other state tax credits, media financing, global deployment vendor programs, like kind exchange structures and other structured private equity and debt placements. .
Before joining PNC, Amaro was a managing director at Global Structured Finance Advisors, a boutique advisory firm. Prior to this, he was a managing director with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ structured finance group, which sold itself to Dexia Bank. Amaro gained international experience in Asia as in-house counsel for a private investment group. Before moving to Hong Kong, he was associated with a SF Bay Area law firm and with the San Francisco tax department of a Big Four accounting firm.
Amaro holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and graduated from the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University) School of Law. He is a member of the Washington and California bar associations and is registered as a General Securities Representative with FINRA/SIPC/MSRB (Series 7 and 63) certification.
