Helen O’Donnell joined Solebury Trout as a Managing Director in September 2015, after more than 20 years of experience in buy-side and sell-side research. In her role, Helen leads the investor relations work on initial public offerings, strategic positioning, and earnings presentations and materials, for clients in the healthcare industry. She also advises clients on how to effectively communicate significant changes in their industry and their company to investors.
Prior to joining Solebury, Helen was a Senior Investment Analyst at American Century Investments, a firm with more than $140 billion in assets under management. She covered the global healthcare sector for the firm’s Global Growth and International Growth Strategies. During her 14 years at American Century, she also co-managed the Global Growth strategy for 2 ½ years.
Earlier in her career, Helen worked on the buy-side as a Senior Vice President and Director of Research for Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management. Before that, Helen was a Senior Vice President in the equity research department of PaineWebber, where she focused on the health care services sector, including hospitals, skilled nursing homes, rehabilitation companies and health care REITs. In that role, she authored detailed industry and company research reports, provided financial models and hosted investment conferences and meetings for clients.
Helen began her career covering medical device companies and healthcare services companies at Smith Barney.
Helen earned a BA degree in Communications from Fordham University.
