Have Questions?

Samsung Pay™ is a convenient mobile payments service that enables PNC’s commercial cardholders to use their eligible Samsung device to make purchases almost anywhere they can swipe or tap their card. By adding their commercial card to Samsung Pay, PNC cardholders can now start making purchases at many leading retailers with fingerprint authentication and without having to reach for their wallet.

Simplify Purchasing While Traveling

  • Samsung Pay is widely accepted and works almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your commercial card. By enrolling your eligible PNC commercial card in Samsung Pay, there’s no need to pull out your wallet when paying for travel related expenses.
  • When you make a purchase using Samsung Pay, a substitute device account number and a transaction specific code are used to process payments instead of your card number. Your commercial card number is never shared with the merchant or stored by Samsung.
  • When a purchase is made using Samsung Pay you still get all the benefits and protection that your PNC commercial card already provides.
  • Samsung Pay transactions are covered by the same PNC security & privacy that protects your PNC commercial cards.

It’s easy to add a PNC commercial card to Samsung Pay. Simply open the Samsung Pay app on an eligible device. To get started:

  • You should contact your company’s program administrator to ensure your cardholder account profile is updated with your mobile device number.
  • Once your account profile is updated, you can begin the enrollment process.
  • To add your commercial card, either enter the required card information manually or hold the eligible device over the card and use the device camera to capture it automatically. Validation of the card information will be completed before it is ready to use.
  • With Samsung Pay, making a purchase is as easy as pulling out your device. Just swipe up on the screen and authorize the payment using your fingerprint. To pay, hover the device close to the terminal where you’d usually swipe or tap the card.
  • A confirmation message on the payment terminal will let you know the purchase was successful, so you can breeze through checkout lines without ever pulling out your wallet.

Pay in Stores

With Samsung Pay, you can pay in stores that accept contactless payments. Just look for the Samsung Pay or contactless symbols at checkout.

When you see the contactless symbols at checkout, hold your compatible Samsung device in front of the secure reader to send your payment. If the merchant uses a traditional magnetic card stripe reader, just place the back of your device against the area where you would typically swipe your card. A message on the payment terminal will let you know your payment was successful. The contactless reader communicates wirelessly with your phone, so all you need to do is wave, pay and go.
