Samsung Pay™ is a convenient mobile payments service that enables PNC’s commercial cardholders to use their eligible Samsung device to make purchases almost anywhere they can swipe or tap their card. By adding their commercial card to Samsung Pay, PNC cardholders can now start making purchases at many leading retailers with fingerprint authentication and without having to reach for their wallet.
It’s easy to add a PNC commercial card to Samsung Pay. Simply open the Samsung Pay app on an eligible device. To get started:

Does PNC support Samsung Pay for commercial cards?
Yes. PNC commercial cardholders can now add their PNC commercial cards to Samsung Pay. You should contact your company’s program administrator to ensure that your cardholder account proﬁle is updated with your mobile device number. Once your account proﬁle is updated, you can begin the enrollment process.

Where can I download Samsung Pay?
Samsung Pay will come pre-loaded on most new eligible Samsung devices. For customers who already have an eligible Samsung phone, Samsung Pay will become available through a software update on your device. You can also visit the Google Play Store to download the app.
How do I add my PNC card to Samsung Pay?
PNC cardholders using an eligible Samsung mobile device will use the Samsung Pay app to add and manage their commercial cards. To add a commercial card to Samsung Pay, open the Samsung Pay app and follow the simple installation process.
Touch the “Add Card” button at the bottom of the screen and use the device camera to capture the commercial card information, or type it in manually.
How do I verify my card for Samsung Pay?
For security reasons, cardholders will be asked to provide extra verification to activate the cards added to Samsung Pay. An SMS text message will be sent to the cardholder’s mobile device with instructions to contact a toll-free customer support number to provide additional information. Once completed, an enrollment verification text message will be sent to the cardholder device confirming enrollment. Then the card will be ready to use with Samsung Pay.
How do I use Samsung Pay?
Samsung Pay can be used to make in-store payments at most merchants equipped with both NFC contactless payment terminals and traditional magnetic stripe card readers. To make an in-store payment, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen on the eligible device to activate Samsung Pay. The commercial card you added or used most recently will be displayed first, and you can easily swipe left or right to select a different card if desired. When you are ready to make a payment, place your finger on the home key to verify your fingerprint, or touch the ENTER PIN option to enter your Samsung Pay PIN. Next, simply hold your device over the NFC payment terminal, or near the magnetic stripe reader where you would typically swipe your card. A confirmation message on the payment terminal will let you know the purchase was successful.
How will Samsung Pay keep my information protected?
With Samsung Pay, commercial card information is never stored on the physical device or shared with the merchant. When a purchase is initiated, a digital account number along with a dynamic, transaction-specific code is used to process the payment. This means that the actual commercial card number is never transmitted with the payment to the merchant.

Will I continue to earn rewards or points with my PNC commercial card using Samsung Pay?
If you are currently enrolled for rewards benefits through your company’s commercial card program, you will continue to earn rewards or points for purchases made using your physical card, or through your card enrolled in Samsung Pay.
What if I need to return an item I purchased using Samsung Pay?
The return process will vary by merchant. You may need to present a receipt from the merchant to return the item. To complete the return, hold your Samsung Pay device over the NFC contactless terminal or magnetic stripe card reader and wait for a confirmation message on the payment terminal that will let you know the return has been processed. You must use the same Samsung Pay-enabled device you used to purchase the item to process the return.
Can I use Samsung Pay on my Samsung Gear devices?
Samsung Pay is available on Samsung Gear S2 and S3 models.
Can I use a card other than my default card to make a purchase using Samsung Pay?
When using Samsung Pay, it’s easy to select a card other than your default card to make a purchase. After swiping up on your device screen to activate Samsung Pay, you can easily swipe left or right to select a different card before you make a payment. Your PNC commercial card should not be established as your default card within Samsung Pay.
Why do I need to verify my card with PNC when I add it to Samsung Pay?
For security purposes, you will be asked to call a toll-free customer service support number to verify your commercial card when adding it to Samsung Pay and to complete your enrollment. This is done to confirm your identity and protect your personal information.
What should I do when I receive a replacement card?
When a PNC commercial card enrolled in Samsung Pay expires or is replaced due to loss, theft, fraud or chip card upgrade, PNC will automatically update your card information in Samsung Pay within two (2) business days from when your replacement card is activated. To update Samsung Pay and not wait the two (2) business days for the automatic update, manually remove the existing card and add the new card to the Samsung Pay app.
What happens if I replace, update or lose my Samsung Pay device?
If you replace or update your Samsung mobile device, your PNC commercial card will be transferred to your Samsung Pay account on the new device. For security, you may be asked for additional verification to activate your card on the new device.
The automatic card restore function is available only on Samsung Pay app version 2.7 and above. Older versions of Samsung Pay will have to manually add their card on their new device.
If your Samsung Pay device is ever lost or stolen, you can use Samsung Find My Mobile to remotely suspend or delete your PNC commercial card from Samsung Pay, or call PNC using the number found on the back of your card to suspend it for you. You can continue to make purchases using your physical card even when the device account number is suspended for Samsung Pay.
Why does my card image in Samsung Pay look different from my physical card?
Your commercial card image in Samsung Pay is a digital representation of your physical PNC commercial card. The image you see in Samsung Pay may not be an exact copy of your PNC card.
