In 2018, Visa® announced that the capture and validation of a cardholder’s signature would be optional for all EMV®-enabled merchants. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, effective May 14, 2020, Visa is extending the same policy change to all merchants, even if they have not deployed EMV chip capabilities, to reduce the need for customers to interact physically with POS terminals.
In particular, we would highlight potential third-party apps and solutions that may help you establish or bolster your e-commerce capabilities and online ordering.

All apps are provided by third parties (including Clover, a First Data Company) and are subject to the terms and conditions of the app developer. All Clover software plans are provided by Clover. Availability of certain Clover software plans and apps may be based upon the Clover equipment you purchased or leased, as well as your industry. For more information contact your PNC Merchant Services account executive. Some apps may be available for download on your Clover device through the Clover App Market. The Clover App Market can be accessed through a Clover device or through the Clover web dashboard. There may be fees associated with third party apps and fees are disclosed in the Clover App Market. For all apps that you purchase through Clover, on a monthly basis, Clover will charge you an amount that equals your total fees for apps. Clover then pays the app developer directly. If you purchase third party apps outside of the Clover App Market, you must arrange to pay any associated app fees. In addition, you will be charged monthly fees for all Clover software packages. These monthly fees may be changed at any time. For information regarding third party app fees and software fees, contact PNC Merchant Services support at 800-742-5030. Fees for software plans and many apps are charged through the Clover App Market. Please note that PNC Merchant Services may earn commission if you choose to use certain third-party services.

The trial begins on the day you agree to the terms and conditions presented at mainstreetinsights.firstdata.com/login and ends 30 calendar days later.
