Important Legal Disclosures and Information

  1. Customers must establish a new PNC Merchant Services account with an initial term of three years or longer. An early termination fee will not be applied if you close this account prior to the end of the term. If you have leased Clover or other equipment, this is a separate agreement and is noncancellable. Please refer to your lease agreement for details. Purchased Clover or other equipment is nonreturnable.

  2. Except as is otherwise set forth in your agreement for merchant services, your funds for MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal and American Express transactions will ordinarily be processed and transferred to select PNC business checking accounts within one business day from the time PNC Merchant Services receives your batch (which is an electronic file containing your card transactions).  If a batch is received after our cut-off time of 10:00 PM ET, or on a day that is not a business day, we will generally consider the batch as being received on the next business day.  Business day means Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.

  3. Wi-Fi access or cellular data may be required. Additional costs for cellular data usage.

  4. Certain features and functions require third party apps or software. PNC Merchant Services is not responsible for third party apps or software. All apps are provided by third parties (including Clover, a Fiserv Company) and are subject to the terms and conditions of the app developer. All Clover software plans are provided by Clover. Availability of certain Clover software plans and apps may be based upon the Clover equipment you purchased or leased, as well as your industry. For more information contact your PNC Merchant Services account executive. Some apps may be available for download on your Clover device through the Clover App Market. The Clover App Market can be accessed through a Clover device or through the Clover web dashboard. There may be fees associated with third party apps and fees are disclosed in the Clover App Market. For all apps that you purchase through Clover, on a monthly basis, Clover will charge you an amount that equals your total fees for apps. Clover then pays the app developer directly. If you purchase third party apps outside of the Clover App Market that are compatible with your Clover device, you must arrange to pay any associated app fees. In addition, you will be charged monthly fees for all Clover software packages. These monthly fees may be changed at any time. For information regarding third party app fees and software fees, contact PNC Merchant Services support at 800-742-5030. Fees for software plans and many apps are charged through the Clover App Market. Please note that PNC Merchant Services may earn commission if you choose to use certain third-party services.

  5. Main Street Insights is a registered product with Fiserv, Inc. You will not be charged a fee for the Temporary License granted during the 30 day trial. The trial begins on the day you agree to the terms and conditions presented at and ends 30 calendar days later. Once the trial period ends, you will need to sign the necessary contractual agreements to continue using Main Street Insights.

  6. Security features from PNC Merchant Services include solutions that offer data encryption, tokenization and software monitoring for virus protection that may be available for a fee. PNC Merchant Services is not liable for any breach that occurs, and it is the customer’s obligation to comply with all data security requirements related to the use of the offered security features. PNC Merchant Services makes no representations, warranties or guarantees regarding your use of the security features.
