Angie Bastian, co-founder of Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP, considers herself an ‘accidental entrepreneur.’ She never imagined that a side hustle she and her husband started with only one outdoor kettle would become a nationally-celebrated snack brand.

In 2001, Angie and her husband, Dan, began popping popcorn at local fairs and amateur baseball games to help pay for their children’s college education. They eventually quit their 9 to 5 jobs, dedicating everything to building their business while juggling family life. In 2017, they sold their business to Conagra Brands for $250 million; but their success didn’t happen overnight.

Watch this free webcast to hear inspiring stories about Angie’s entrepreneurial journey and the challenges she and Dan faced along the way. Learn how Angie built relationships to help propel the business forward, how they persevered through major financial struggles – including sustaining the capital needed to run their business – and much more.
