PNC Bank Visa Incentive Card for Business
  • Cards are issued in whole dollar amounts between $25 and $1,000 and can be personalized with the recipient's name or printed with a custom message on each.
  • Orders for PNC Bank Incentive Cards can be placed through your PNC banker or Treasury Management Officer.

How It Works

The PNC Bank Incentive Card is a prepaid card that carries a fixed cash amount determined by the card sponsor at the time the card is purchased. Recipients may pay for purchases, either by signature or by PIN, anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.

  • For signature transactions, recipients choose the "credit" payment option and sign the receipt.
  • For PIN transactions, recipients choose the "debit" payment option and enter their PIN.

NOTE: Not all merchants will be able to accept signature and/or PIN transactions and recipients cannot obtain cash back from merchants or use their PIN to make withdrawals at ATMs. Spending is limited to the amount of money placed on the card by the card sponsor. Each time the card is used, the purchase amount is deducted from the balance.

Card Expiration & Fees

The Incentive Card is valid through the last day of the expiration month/year on the front of the card or until the value reaches zero. The funds expire when the card expires.

  • Cards personalized with recipient's name - $3.95 per card
  • Cards embossed with a generic message - $3.50 per card + $40.00 shipping
  • Inactivity Fee* - $3.00 per month
  • Replacement Card - $10.00 (additional $15.00 for express shipping)

* After six (6) consecutive months of inactivity (beginning with the date the card is activated), an Inactivity fee of $3.00 per month will be assessed against the balance on the Card and continue until the Card is used again or the balance is $0. Inactivity means that there have been no purchases made using the Card. Fees are not considered purchases. If the Card balance is zero or becomes zero, the Card will be cancelled.

Important Tips

  • Recipients are encouraged to know their card balance before shopping. Card balances can be obtained 24/7 through direct online access at, or by calling 866-453-5071.
  • If the recipient would like to purchase an item that costs more than the balance on their card, they should let the cashier know the available amount on the card and pay the remainder with another form of payment.
