PNC Recognizes LGBT Pride Month

At PNC, we believe that diversity initiatives make good business sense. We support diversity and inclusion in many ways, including programs that engage our customers, communities, employees and suppliers. In June PNC commemorates LGBT Pride Month with a number of community events and sponsorships, including:

  • Charlotte: May 22
    PNC is co-sponsoring the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund's 6th Annual "Happening!" Lunch on May 22 at the Omni Charlotte. The luncheon raises awareness and support of the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund, which was created to positively impact the underfunding of nonprofit organizations serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

  • Chicago: June 22-23
    PNC is sponsoring Chicago Pride Fest, June 22-23, on Halsted Street.

  • Cleveland: June 29
    PNC is sponsoring the 25th annual Cleveland PRIDE Celebration, June 29, at Voinovich Bicentennial Park.

  • Columbus: June 21-23
    PNC is sponsoring Columbus PRIDE, June 21-23, at Goodale Park. This year's celebration includes a festival, parade and brunch, among other events.

  • Florida: November 2013-May 2014
    PNC is sponsoring seven Equality Florida galas in Orlando, Sarasota, Naples, Tampa, Tallahassee, St. Petersburg and Gainesville. These galas, which will be held from November 2013 to May 2014, provide an opportunity for guests to learn about Florida's status in the fight for full equality for the state's LGBT community.

  • Greater Maryland: June 15-16
    PNC will again sponsor Baltimore PRIDE June 15-16, at various locations throughout the weekend. This year's celebration includes a festival, parade, block party and headline performance, among other events.

  • Greater Washington: June 8-9
    PNC is again sponsoring Capital Pride, the third largest PRIDE celebration in the US with more than 250,000 people expected to attend.

  • Harrisburg: July 27
    PNC is sponsoring Pride Festival of Central PA, July 27 in Harrisburg. This year's celebration includes a festival and parade, among other events.

  • Indianapolis: June 8
    PNC is sponsoring Indy Pride Festival, June 8, at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis.

  • Kalamazoo: June 14-15
    PNC is sponsoring Kalamazoo Pride, June 14-15, at the Arcadia Creek Festival Site in Kalamazoo.

  • Louisville: June 14-15
    PNC is sponsoring Kentuckiana Pride Festival, June 14-15, at the Belvedere.

  • Milwaukee: June 7-9
    PNC is sponsoring PRIDE Fest, June 7-9, at Summfest Grounds. Among other events, this year's celebration includes a festival and musical acts by the Indigo Girls, Sophia B. Hawkins and Bad Romance.

  • Central New Jersey: June 2
    PNC is sponsoring Jersey Pride, Inc., June 2, in Asbury Park.

  • North New Jersey: June 3-9
    PNC is sponsoring North Jersey Pride, Inc., June 3-9, at Memorial Park Amphitheater. This year's celebration includes a kickoff party, festival and film screenings, among other events.

  • Philadelphia: May 12-19
    PNC is sponsoring New Hope Celebrates, May 12-19, in New Hope, PA. This year's celebration includes art, music and a festival, among other events.

  • Pittsburgh: June 7-16
    PNC will again sponsor Pittsburgh PRIDE, June 7-16, in downtown Pittsburgh. This year's celebration includes a parade, festival and headline performance by Adam Lambert, among other events.
