Robin F. Bond, Esq.
Managing Principal and Founder
Transition Strategies, LLC

"I have met many successful executives through PNC networking events, and I feel comfortable referring my clients to PNC professionals for what are often complex business and wealth planning needs. I have confidence in the resources of PNC, and making these introductions helps me provide the value-added service that all of us strive to offer our clients."

Counsel Never Rests

Having led negotiations from both sides of the bargaining table, Robin Bond brings a unique perspective to the clients who come to her for career- and workplace-related legal guidance. As managing principal and founder of the Philadelphia-area employment law firm Transition Strategies LLC, Robin has represented more than 2,000 executives, helping them negotiate maximum value in their employment and severance contracts or representing them in other types of legal matters.

"People come to me when they're in stressful situations - they have just been fired or they are dealing with another type of critical circumstance related to their career; for example, they just received a tremendous job offer and want to leverage it to its fullest," Robin says. "I offer solutions to empower these executives to get through the stressful periods successfully, feel good about what they've done and move forward confidently."

"Where there's strife, I strive to make peace," she adds.

That's not always easy, but Robin makes it look that way. She calmly talks employers through the merits of her clients' actions or intentions and shows the other side how her proposed resolution is mutually beneficial. Robin's earlier career experience, as in-house corporate counsel, gives her the advantage of understanding the interests of both parties and the know-how to propose solutions in ways that will work.

Her objectivity and insight also make her the go-to legal expert for a variety of national and local media. She regularly appears on numerous network and cable news and business shows, including FOX-TV and CNN, and is frequently cited in major print and online media, from The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times to Women's Health, Careerbuilder.com, and Salon.com. In addition, she has been an on-air legal commentator for FOX News Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio's "Court TV Radio Mornings," the national Web streaming talk show "First Wives World," and Court Television's "Open Court" live trial coverage.

Clients Benefit from Active Networking

But prominence doesn't change the fact that Robin continues to be a hard-working entrepreneur. She knows that her clients rely on her as not only a legal advisor but also a business associate. In particular, they appreciate her willingness to introduce them to other professionals who can be great resources for them.

"I have met many successful executives through PNC networking events, and I feel comfortable referring my clients to PNC professionals for what are often complex business and wealth planning needs," Robin shares. "I have confidence in the resources of PNC, and making these introductions helps me provide the value-added service that all of us strive to offer our clients."

Robin's confidence stems from her personal experience with the PNC Wealth Management team. She has been a Wealth Management client for several years and also called on PNC to establish a 401(k) plan for her employees.

"I rely on the advice of PNC Wealth Management," says Robin. "The relationships I've formed with PNC representatives and members of their professional networks continue to be extremely valuable to my own business as well as my clients' businesses."
