Paul leads PNC Business Credit in the UK and has over 34 years’ experience in the Asset-Based Lending arena. Paul has successfully set up and established three ABL businesses since the late 1990’s, the last of which was acquired by PNC in November 2010.
Under Paul’s leadership, the business has grown from a new Start Up in 2006 to one of the UK’s leading Asset-Based Lending businesses with in excess of £2bn of commitments under management.
Paul is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth in the UK and Commercial Finance Association (Europe).
David has over 27 years ABL experience and has held a variety of senior risk and operating roles within the industry. David is currently responsible for the credit risk management of the PNC Business Credit UK portfolio, as well as analytics and works closely with the Portfolio Director and team of relationship managers to ensure the business meets its risk management objectives.
Danny has been actively involved in the Asset-Based Lending arena since 1996 having previously worked in the banking sector. In this time, Danny has fulfilled a variety of client management, risk, operational and audit & compliance roles.
He joined the business in 2007 and has been an integral part of the development and growth of the business ever since. He has overall responsibility for the main operational functions including Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, Field Exams & Appraisals, IT and Finance.
Lea is responsible for overseeing all aspects of PNC Business Credit UK’s HR and Client Operations teams and ensuring both robust credit risk processes and service excellence for our customers.
Lea has been in the Asset-Based Lending industry for over 17 years, including over 8 years with PNC, holding senior roles within Portfolio, Client Operations and HR. She is an experienced leader of people with a strong track record of service delivery and continuous improvement.
A highly experienced Commercial Finance Executive with over 27 years in the Asset-Based Lending Industry, including experience in the Equipment Leasing and Fleet Leasing Industries. With 19 years’ prior service at a global commercial finance company, 9 years at Board level, holding positions responsible for Risk, Sales, Audit and Operations covering both regulated and non-regulated businesses.
Darren is responsible for the Portfolio of PNC Business Credit UK, enhancing relationships and supporting customers with their growth needs. Darren oversees the national Portfolio team, driving a culture of service excellence with strong credit risk processes.
Brian MacConnell is Executive Vice President and Division Executive of PNC Business Credit (PNCBC), a division of PNC Bank N.A. He is responsible for the oversight of PNCBC’s specialty lending products comprising Steel City Capital Funding, a provider of cash flow and 2nd lien financing; PNC Technology Finance, which leverages the recurring revenue of sponsor backed software companies; and the Cerberus PNC Senior Loan Fund LLC, a provider of large first out cash flow financings.
MacConnell joined PNC Business Credit in 1997 as one of its founding members and oversaw the creation of over $6 billion in new client loans in support of middle market leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Eastern Division Executive for PNC Business Credit.
MacConnell is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Finance and Marketing and received his M.B.A. from Rutgers University. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association.
