Since 2004, we’ve provided tools and resources that help develop curious young minds. We’re proud to have grown PNC Grow up Great into a $500 million initiative dedicated to serving children from birth to age five, particularly underserved children, by empowering and supporting their caregivers and teachers.

Since 2004, PNC Grow Up Great® has helped prepare children from birth through age 5 for success in school and life. We’re supporting programs, resources and experiences that plant the seeds for a lifetime of opportunities.

Because we’re bankers, not educators, we’ve collaborated from the start of
PNC Grow Up Great with education experts, at the local and national levels, to develop resources and programs that encourage children to discover, learn and grow.
Our support of the 3Ts — Tune In, Talk More, Take Turns — helps parents understand their role in foundational brain development.
Our free, bilingual resources aim to help parents, caregivers and educators enhance learning opportunities for young children.
Our Be My Neighbor Day collaboration with local public television stations helps children learn how to be caring neighbors.
The PNC Foundation has awarded $15 million since 2017 to help public school teachers provide high-quality resources and learning experiences for their students.
Our financial support helps improve the learning and development of young children by producing academic research that informs policy and practice.
Strong PNC leadership and our advisory committee comprised of leaders in early childhood education are behind everything we do.
