Where Family Trees Flourish
We are pleased to announce that Annamaria (Anna) Vitelli has been named Head of Hawthorn, PNC Family Wealth®. In her new role, Anna will lead the Hawthorn team as they help our clients preserve and grow their assets and create meaningful family legacies. Anna’s qualifications reflect the key characteristics we value in our Hawthorn team: deep technical knowledge, broad service experience, profound respect for collaboration, unquestioned integrity, and an unwavering conviction that our clients always come first.
Most importantly, Anna is deeply committed to delivering on our client promise, which is helping families define success in words as well as numbers, easing the complexities of wealth, building deep, personal and enduring relationships, and delivering peace of mind.
Anna has significant breadth and depth of experience that she can draw on to benefit Hawthorn clients. Since joining PNC in 2007, she has held a number of leadership positions and has been instrumental in helping PNC clients address a wide range of wealth management needs. Most recently, she served as Head of Wealth Strategy for PNC Wealth Management® where she led a team of strategists responsible for integrating clients’ financial, estate, tax and philanthropic plans. She also oversees development of PNC’s thought leadership in areas such as family business succession, wealth transfer, philanthropy, family dynamics and governance, retirement planning, and risk management.
Before joining PNC, Anna practiced law in the Trust and Estate departments of two respected law firms, Fox Rothschild and Cozen O’Connor. She also established the Wealth Planning department for Private Family Office and was a manager in Arthur Andersen’s Private Client Services Group. Anna is an attorney licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She holds an L.L.M. in Taxation from Temple University School of Law, where she also received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Loyola College in Maryland.
Hawthorn has long believed that family and financial success go hand-in-hand. Anna’s experience has strengthened her commitment to this belief. “For more than 20 years, Hawthorn has offered a high level of holistic support for families of wealth,” says Anna. “That support is evident in recent additions to our services, including the introduction of the Institute for Family Success, the launch of Hawthorn Online, which enhances digital access, and expanded investment opportunities such as thematic investing. All of us at Hawthorn will continue to support these robust offerings, while always seeking innovative and effective ways to help our clients achieve and sustain family and financial well-being. My goal, and that of our entire team, is to help prepare wealth for families and prepare families for wealth.”
Anna looks forward to building on Hawthorn’s history of serving families of wealth.
