John Nunnery

Senior Vice President and Manager of Preservation Investments, PNC Real Estate

John Nunnery is Senior Vice President and Manager of Preservation Investments within the Tax Credit Solutions group of PNC Real Estate. He has been with PNC for 13 years.

Mr. Nunnery is responsible for overseeing PNC’s Preservation Investments group, which manages national investment funds that acquire and operate affordable housing properties with the intent of preserving long-term affordability. Mr. Nunnery serves on the board of PNC Real Estate’s Registered Investment Advisor as well as PNC Real Estate’s investment and loan committees.

Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Nunnery was Regional Manager of Originations. In this role, he was responsible for equity and debt originations in the Southeast United States and for management of PNC’s Southwest, Midwest and Mountain region originations efforts.

Mr. Nunnery has been in the real estate industry for more than 30 years, including the last 22 years in the affordable housing industry. Prior to joining PNC, Mr. Nunnery worked for another company where he focused on the acquisition and redevelopment of affordable housing as well as the sale of office, industrial and retail investment properties.  

Mr. Nunnery holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Memphis.
