"Our culture is built on a set of values and a commitment by our employees to always do what we know to be right by those we serve."
- Bill Demchak, Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer
The PNC Foundation's priority is to form partnerships with community-based nonprofit organizations within the areas we serve and award grants to those which focus on:
Through charitable sponsorships, PNC supports education and community and economic development, which includes the arts, culture and financial education. We sponsor activities and initiatives where our employee volunteers, community leaders, local clients and residents can together drive success.
PNC often takes a unique approach to sponsorships, analyzing opportunities for their community impact and sometimes bringing together community-based organizations for the first time to help drive strategic outcomes. Our successful collaborations continue to result in measurable success.
PNC's Charitable Trust Grant Review Committee funds grant requests that demonstrate a capacity and commitment to charitable service and enhance the quality of life for the people and their communities.
Our mission is to implement the legacies set forth by the individual donors who established these trust relationships with PNC. Grants are only administered to select regions based on the donor's preference.
Approximately $50 million in grants is issued annually to recipients in the fields of health, social services, education, religion and the arts.
The PNC Foundation and PNC Bank, NA will not provide support for organizations that discriminate with regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, ancestry, marital status, disability, or protected veteran status.
