How did we get started and where are we going?

Our goal is to deepen our connection to the communities we serve - providing consumers with knowledge and choice is the foundation of this program. Learn about how our Mobile Branch outreach program came to life and hear from our team about their daily interactions.

Bringing Financial Education and Banking Services to You

Mobile Branches make dedicated visits bi-weekly to partner organizations.

PNC Mobile Branches empower residents in low- and moderate-income areas to start or restart their financial wellness journey at a very unexpected place - in a truck, parked at one of their valued community organizations.

Community partner organizations play an important role by connecting PNC Mobile Branches with neighbors that need us most. They provide the location and share the value that we bring to their members. We currently have dedicated routes through eleven communities, making 10-15 stops per route.

While on-site, PNC Mobile Branch bankers have real conversations with people about managing money with the goal of helping individuals and families learn how to build financial stability and pursue economic opportunities for their future.

Together, we’re moving communities forward financially.

Financial Wellness Solutions

It starts with a conversation. We get to know our neighbors so we can deliver personalized support and guidance during visits.

Financial Education Workshops

PNC’s trained professionals supply free financial education, in one-on-one discussions and in seminars. Popular workshop topics include Basics of Banking, Credit Scores & Reports, Budgeting and Home Ownership.

One-to-One Banking

Mobile Branch bankers are skilled at offering guidance on the right product or service. We pride ourselves in offering individuals what they need. Our mission is to set each person up to move forward financially.

ATM Services

Mobile Branch customers with a bank account can deposit cash or checks, withdraw or transfer funds, check balances, and set personal preferences.

With our community partners, we develop consistent schedules and dedicated routes for our PNC Mobile Branch vehicles. Specially-trained staff deliver personalized support and guidance at every stop.

More Than a Bank on Wheels

Our fully-equipped fleet is always on the go, meeting people where they are whether that's during a time of need, at a place of work, college or a community event.

  • Community Outreach: Parked near food banks, transitional housing services and other community partner sites that are providing in person social support to the community.
  • Disaster Relief: Deliver crucial bank services in communities recovering from hurricanes, tornadoes and other natural disasters.
  • Branch Renovation: Provide branch service to PNC customers when their brick-and-mortar branch is temporarily closed for upgrades.
  • University and WorkPlace Banking: Help students and employees access financial wellness education and apply for new accounts during onsite events like university move-in days and new employee onboarding. 
  • Sponsorship Activation: Partner with other organizations to encourage financial stability among their stakeholders.
