- With PNC EarnedIt, you will have access to your net earnings (up to a maximum of 80% of your gross pay) in the form of an available balance. Your available balance is the portion of your earnings you can transfer before payday. This portion is calculated based on your earnings as reported to PNC EarnedIt by your employer and the proprietary algorithm, which calculates the most accurate available amount for each user. You can expect to see it change over time and throughout each pay period as you work.
- Your PNC EarnedIt available balance will always be less than your total dollars earned.
- Only hours actually worked are included. Missed punches and unmatched punches are excluded. Accurate timecard in/out punches are imperative.
- Vacation, Holiday and Sick Time hours are not included.
- If you do not work hours during the pay period, you will not have available earnings.
Please note that your employer’s payroll system may differ and that is the system that will determine how much you earn on payday.
Yes. If you did not take any transfers through PNC EarnedIt, you will receive your full paycheck on your regularly scheduled payday. PNC EarnedIt will never charge a transaction fee for sending your paycheck.
PNC EarnedIt offers two types of transfers: Within minutes and next business day transfers. Where available, within minutes transfers are available for a fee 24/7, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Next business day transfers requested before 11:00pm EST are available in the morning on the next business day. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays.
You can transfer up to $1,000 in a single day. The minimum transfer amount is $20.
You can make up to two transfers per day.
PNC EarnedIt is designed to work with those being paid via direct deposit (either to a checking account, savings account, pay card or debit card). You can start being paid via direct deposit by entering your bank information in the PNC EarnedIt app.
Your balance will be deposited into your account by the end of business on your normally scheduled payday. The exact timing will depend on your financial institution.
Depending on your bank, you might receive a notification about PNC EarnedIt after you request your first transfer and/or when you change your direct deposit information. This is called a “prenote” and is not a charge – it’s simply a way for PNC EarnedIt to verify that your account number is correct.
- By following the steps below, you may cancel your account. If you have made an earnings transfer ahead of payday, you may request PNC EarnedIt account closure at any time, but PNC EarnedIt receives one final paycheck from your employer to cover the transfers that were sent to you, passing along any remaining pay to your bank account on file.
- Once we receive this final paycheck and the account balance is covered, your account will be fully canceled. This process can take up to a couple of pay periods to ensure full account closure. Your account number on file will be automatically sent back to your employer as the deposit account on record. You do not need to update your HR system.
