    Gail K. Bernstein

    EVP & National Investment Manager

    PNC Business Credit


    Gail K. Bernstein is Executive Vice President and National Investment Manager for PNC Business Credit. She is responsible for oversight of the cross-selling of all PNC Bank products and services to current and prospective PNC Business Credit clients.

    Bernstein joined PNC Business Credit to open its West Coast office in 1998 as Western Region Marketing Manager. Previously, she was National Sales and Marketing Manager for Wells Fargo’s asset-based lending unit. Bernstein was also Senior Credit Officer and National Marketing Director for Signal Capital Corporation’s asset-based unit, and Managing Director of Bank of America’s Latin American Private Banking division.

    She received her B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and her MBA from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Bernstein also completed the Smith Management Program at Smith College. 

    She serves on the executive committee of the National Commercial Finance Association and is Vice Chair of the education committee, in addition to serving on the board of the Los Angeles Chapter. Bernstein’s active memberships include the Commercial Finance Association (board and various committees), the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, the Women’s Leadership Council and the Jonathan Club.

    George G. Cole, Jr.

    EVP & Director of Internal Controls

    PNC Business Credit


    George G. Cole, Jr. is Executive Vice President and Director of Internal Controls for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of PNC Business Credit’s Underwriting, Field Examination, and Operations groups nationally, including regional offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago and Pasadena.

    Cole joined PNC Business Credit in 2003 and has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial finance and middle market lending. He began his career with Mellon Bank in the asset-based lending group after successfully completing the bank's credit training program. While at Mellon, Cole held various senior management positions in field examination, underwriting, business development and relationship management.

    He received his B.A. from Widener University.

    Cole is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and previously served on the board of the Cherry Hill Atlantic Little League. 

    William A. Kosis

    Chief Executive Officer

    PNC Business Credit


    William A. Kosis is Chief Executive Officer of PNC Business Credit.

    Kosis joined PNC Business Credit as Chief Executive Officer at its inception in 1997. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of IBJ Schroder Business Credit. He started the asset based lending division of IBJ Schroder Bank & Trust, and expanded the group into a well-respected national industry participant. Kosis also managed the Bank of New York Middle Market Northern Team, and later started and managed the bank's Middle Market Connecticut division. He began his career in the management training program at G.E. Capital.

    Kosis received his B.A. from Penn State University and his MBA from the University of Connecticut. He also completed post graduate work at the Graduate School of Credit and Finance at Stanford University.

    Kosis is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the New York Runners Club.

    Peter J. Mardaga

    EVP & Western Division Executive

    PNC Business Credit


    Peter J. Mardaga is Executive Vice President and Western Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of the teams that handle all new business development and relationship management for PNCBC’s Western division, which includes the West, Southwest, Upper Midwest, Canada and the Southeast.

    Mardaga joined The PNC Financial Services Group in 1992 and has been with PNC Business Credit since its formation in 1997. He has served in a number of senior sales, portfolio and managerial positions within PNC Business Credit and was also Chief Operating Officer. Mardaga started his career with Wachovia Bank.

    He received his B.S. and MBA from Fordham University.

    Mardaga is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association.

    W. Craig Stillwagon

    EVP & Eastern Division Executive

    PNC Business Credit


    W. Craig Stillwagon is Executive Vice President and Eastern Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of the teams that handle all new business development and relationship management for PNCBC’s Eastern division, which includes the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and the United Kingdom.

    Stillwagon joined PNC Business Credit in 1997. He began his career with Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC) in the NYC Midtown Commercial Lending Group after successfully completing the bank's Accelerated Credit Training Program. Stillwagon has over 30 years of experience in middle market lending and business development, including experience with Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) and CIT Business Credit.

    He received his B.A. from Denison University and completed post graduate work at the University of Nevada.

    Stillwagon is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Commercial Finance Association. 

    Peter W. Thompson

    EVP & Chief Operating Officer

    PNC Business Credit


    Peter W. Thompson is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for the internal day to day operations of PNC Business Credit.

    Thompson joined PNC Business Credit in 1997. He began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, and attained the rank of vice president and senior loan officer. He was a founding member of a de novo commercial finance operation at the Bank of New York, managing the Auditing and Operations department. Thompson previously was the portfolio manager for IBJ Schroder Business Credit.

    He received his B.S. from St. John's University.

    Thompson is a former president of the Commercial Finance Association - New York Chapter.
