A token passcode is a one-time, randomly generated numeric code created by the PINACLE Pass® mobile app or the physical token device that you have. It is used in conjunction with
information that you know, such as your Company ID, Operator ID and Password,
to help authenticate your PINACLE login.
PINACLE Pass app:
Physical Token Device:
PINACLE Pass is a mobile app for iOS and Android devices that helps provide a secure alternative to carrying a physical token. First, download the app then follow the on-screen prompts to complete access. For more information on how to Download and use PINACLE Pass app, refer to using the PINACLE Pass app instructions document.
The generated Token Passcode on PINACLE Pass has an expiry duration. If expired, you will need to request a new Passcode using ‘Generate Passcode’, while the number on your physical token device will change automatically.
If the number on PINACLE Pass expires or changes on the physical token device just as you have entered it into the Token Passcode field on the login page, don't worry - there's a short grace period.
If there is an error with your login, you will have to request a new Passcode using ‘Generate Code’ on your PINACLE Pass or wait until the number changes on your physical token to enter the passcode again.
The physical token device will automatically shut itself off after a minute, or you can manually shut it off.
