Institutional social responsibility encompasses everything from your organization’s mission, philanthropy, and employee benefits programs to how you invest your assets. During this two-day event, you’ll hear from thought leaders on how and why organizations are thinking about “Investing in Change” from an institutional perspective. We’ll consider what social responsibility means from multiple perspectives, including those of employees, clients, communities, partners, investors and more.     • 2:00 – 2:45 PM: PNC’s Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
      • Hear from Bill Demchak, Chairman, President and CEO, on PNC’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, including the company’s efforts to look out for the best interests of its clients, communities, employees and shareholders. Bill will discuss some of the ways that PNC is leveraging the power of its resources to help drive meaningful change. This includes PNC’s sponsorship of a Special Purpose Acquisition Company, Empowerment & Inclusion Capital, to acquire and support the growth of a company making a positive difference in the world.  
    • 2:45 – 3:00 PM: Break
    • 3:00 – 4:00 PM: The Power of Partnerships to Cause Social Change
      • Join Richard Bynum, PNC’s Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer, and Anthony Wilbon, Howard University School of Business Dean, as they describe how investments in corporate/nonprofit partnerships can amplify the impact each organization can make. Hear more about the newly established Howard University and PNC National Center for Entrepreneurship.

      • During this session, you’ll hear from the NFL’s Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility, Anna Isaacson, on the organization’s many investments in social responsibility, including their Inspire Change initiative. Anna will share insights on why and how NFL players, clubs, the league, and partners have chosen to invest in driving positive change in our nation’s communities.

    • 3:00 – 3:45 PM: The “S” in ESG: Investing for Change
      • What does Responsible Investing mean for your organization’s portfolios?Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) investing can be viewed from both a risk and opportunity lens for organizations seeking to use their investments to drive change. How do you identify priorities and implement them via investments that both impact social change and provide desired risk/return characteristics? Hear from Nick Ashburn, Head of Responsible Investing for PNC. 
    • 3:45 – 4:15 PM: Changing Employee Benefit Offerings in Support of Social Responsibility
      • Join PNC’s Chief Human Resource Officer, Vicki Henn, as she highlights the way PNC considers social responsibility when investing in employee benefit programs. Vicki will address the ways that a rapidly changing workforce and unique external influences necessitate changes to both philosophies and plans. Hear more about what PNC has learned employees want and how organizations can adapt in response.
