Lock Your Card
With Easy Lock®[1] if you misplace your card, you can lock it right away and unlock when you find it.
- Lock Your Card in the PNC Mobile app:

In the PNC Mobile app:[2]
- Select the menu, then select Cards.
- Select Lock on the image of the card you want to lock.
- If you find your card, come back and select Unlock to start using it again.
- If you confirm your card is lost or stolen, select Card Actions then Report a Card Lost or Stolen.
In Online Banking:
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Cards.
- Find your card and select Card Actions.
- Select Lock/Unlock Card.
Report Your PNC Card as Lost or Stolen
If you think someone has used your card without your permission, call PNC immediately at 1-800-558-8472. Business Credit Card customers can call 1-800-474-2101.
You can report your card as lost or stolen either through the PNC Mobile app, Online Banking, by calling PNC, or by visiting a local PNC branch.

- Find the card you want to report, then select Card Actions.
- Select Report a Card Lost or Stolen.
In Online Banking:
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Cards.
- Find your card and select Card Actions.
- Select Report Card Lost or Stolen.
Request a Replacement Card
If your card has been damaged, destroyed or is no longer working we can send a replacement card.
The easiest way to request a replacement card is either through the PNC Mobile app or Online Banking.
You can also request a replacement card by calling PNC at 1-800-558-8472. Business Credit Card customers can call 1-800-474-2101.

- Select the menu, then select Cards.
- Find the card you want to replace, then select Card Actions.
- Select Request a Replacement Card to start your request.
In Online Banking:
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Cards.
- Find your card and select Card Actions.
- Select Request Replacement Card to start your request.
Activate Your Card
When you receive your card follow these steps and start using it right away.
You can activate your new card by calling the number provided on your card and following the automated prompts. Once your card is activated, you can start using it right away.
You can activate your new card via the PNC Mobile app or Online Banking by following the steps below.

In the PNC Mobile app:
- Select the menu, then select Cards.
- Find the card you want to activate, then select Activate This Card.
- Select Begin Activation.
In Online Banking:
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Cards.
- Find your card. If it hasn't been activated, a Card activation required banner will appear.
- Select Activate Card and complete the activation.
Dispute a Transaction
If you believe an error or unauthorized transaction has posted to your account, please call PNC immediately.

You can dispute a transaction either through Online Banking (steps provided below), by calling PNC or going to your local PNC branch.
Note: Please consider contacting the merchant as sometimes reaching out to the merchant can often result in a quicker resolution.
Dispute a Transaction in Online Banking:
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Help.
- For Credit transactions, select Account Actions, then Dispute a Transaction from the Manage Your Account section.
- For Debit transactions, select Help, then Manage Accounts, then Dispute a Transaction from the Checking and Savings section.
- Complete the request with your information. The dispute tool will tell you what to expect and any next steps.
Set a Travel Notification
Notify us of your plans to travel.
You can use your card(s) when traveling internationally. However, before you do, we recommend you notify us before you leave to have a travel notice placed on your account(s).
When using your card(s) internationally, foreign transaction fees may apply. Refer to the Consumer Schedule of Service Charges and Fees, Virtual Wallet Features and Fees, or the Business Checking Accounts and Related Charges for additional information.
You can also place a notification by calling the phone number found on the back of your card. Be prepared to provide the date(s) you will be traveling, as well as your destination(s).

In the PNC Mobile app:
- Select the menu icon (three lines), then tap Cards.
- Select Card Actions in the bottom of the Cards screen.
- Select Set a Travel Notification.
In Online Banking:
- Sign on to Online Banking.
- Select Cards.
- For any card, select Card Actions. It doesn’t matter which you choose, you’ll be able to include multiple cards with the request.
- Select the cards you’d like to include, then complete the request with your trip information.
Reset Your PIN on Your Debit or Credit Card
Keeping your account secure is important. Here are the different ways to reset your pin on your debit card or credit card.

Reset Your Debit Card PIN
You can stop by any PNC branch with your debit card and photo ID to select a new PIN.
You can also call us to have a new random PIN generated, which will be mailed to you via USPS.
Reset Your Credit Card PIN
To establish, modify, or reset your credit card cash advance PIN:
- Please call 1-855-893-0460 and have your credit card available.
- Remember - Cash advances, including ATM withdrawals, are subject to the cash advance APR and cash advance fee that apply to your account.
