With PNC Bank's Online Banking and Bill Pay service, we strive to protect your personal and financial information and to process your online transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
When you use Online Bill Pay, our goal is to make your electronic payments as safe and reliable as possible. In the unlikely event of a loss in a consumer account when using our online service, you will be reimbursed the amount of the unauthorized transaction as long as you properly followed the guidelines in the Online Bill Pay Service Agreement.
With respect to our online pledge, you must share in the responsibility of keeping your financial information secure. You are responsible for keeping your online Password, account numbers, User ID, and other account data confidential. If you share this information with another person, you authorize them to use your account. You should also maintain up-to-date anti-virus and malware protection. You should also learn how to spot fraudulent email phishing scams and avoid clicking on suspicious links and files.
Your payments will be scheduled in compliance with the Online Bill Pay Service Agreement. If you have scheduled your payment properly and the payment is credited after the due date, we will reimburse you for late fees or interest charges you incur.
The Online Banking Security Pledge and Bill Pay Guarantee is one of the many services PNC offers through PNC Security & Privacy to help protect you from fraud and identity theft.
Limited to additional interest charges accrued between the due date of the bill and the date when the bill is paid.
This Guarantee may be modified or discontinued at any time.
