Except as is otherwise set forth in your agreement for merchant services, your funds for MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal and American Express transactions will ordinarily be processed and transferred to select PNC business checking accounts within one business day from the time PNC Merchant Services receives your batch (which is an electronic file containing your card transactions). If a batch is received after our cut-off time of 10:00 PM ET, or on a day that is not a business day, we will generally consider the batch as being received on the next business day. Business day means Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
A “Surcharge” is an additional fee that businesses add to certain credit card transactions, as permitted by Card Organization Rules (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) and applicable laws. Each business is solely responsible for ensuring that its surcharge program complies with all applicable laws and Card Organization Rules. Business must disclose surcharge fee on all forms of receipts, on a sign at business entry point, and at point of sale location. Businesses cannot offer surcharges to clients using American Express Direct. Surcharges cannot be applied to debit cards, EBTs, gift cards, prepaid cards, or written tip amounts (on-screen tip will incur surcharge fee). Surcharging is prohibited to clients located in the following states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico. Additional terms and conditions apply.
