How to Enroll with Zelle®

Before you can use Zelle® with PNC, you will need:

A PNC Personal Checking account

An Online Banking User ID

  1. Sign in to the PNC Mobile App with your Online Banking User ID and password.
  2. Tap on Send Money with Zelle®
  3. Read the messages on the Zelle® enrollment screens and select Get Started.
  4. After reading the PNC Zelle® Terms of Use, select I Agree.
  5. Choose a U.S. mobile number. Your mobile number will be used to send and receive payments. You may be asked to verify the selected mobile number. You can add a different number or select Skip This Step.
  6. Then, select the email address you use for Online Banking. Your email address can also be used to send and receive payments. You may be asked to verify the selected email address.
  7. If you're already enrolled with Zelle® at a different bank, follow the prompts to easily transfer your mobile number or email address to use with Zelle® at PNC instead.
  8. Choose a bank account to send and receive payments. Accounts can be updated in Zelle® Settings. Select the PNC account you want to use with Zelle®.
  9. Review your enrollment information to make sure everything’s correct.

How to Pay it Safe with Zelle®

Only send money to people and businesses you know and trust.

If you suspect you received a fraudulent text, email, or phone call that appears to be from PNC Bank: 

  • Do not respond. 
  • Do not click on any links. 
  • Do not provide any personal information. 

Forward the email or a screenshot of the text message to PNCBank: abuse@pnc.com. Then, delete the email or text message.
