How Can I Check in Digitally?

We're bringing you an easy and safe way to check in to PNC branch appointments via text message.[1,2] Checking in through text is convenient and it protects the health and safety of our branch employees and customers.

When you arrive at a PNC branch, you can let us know you’ve arrived, whether you have an appointment or not.

Simply text the number listed on the sign on the door to 762123. Then, confirm your appointment or add yourself to the line — all from the comfort of your car or anywhere nearby.

PNC values your safety, and we want to be proactive in helping to protect you and your family. To reduce the number of people in our lobby at once and to adhere to health and safety guidelines, we can check you in to your pre-scheduled appointments or add you to our walk-in line through texting.

  1. PNC offers a contactless service to our customers visiting select PNC Branches allowing them to send a text (SMS) message to a branch representative. This service will service both ‘walk-in’ customers as well as customers who have arrived for a scheduled appointment.  Customers will see signage at our branches with a call-to-action prompting them to send a text message to the short code 762123.  PNC will respond to let customers know what place they are in line as well as confirm when they can enter the branch offices for servicing needs.  Customers can obtain HELP at any time by replying HELP to 762123 and/or STOP any further messaging by replying STOP to 762123.

  2. PNC does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking. However, third party message and data rates may apply. These include fees your wireless carrier may charge you for data usage and text messaging services. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data usage or text messaging charges that may apply. Also, a supported mobile device is needed to use the Mobile Banking App. Mobile Deposit is a feature of PNC Mobile Banking. Use of the Mobile Deposit feature requires a supported camera-equipped device and you must download a PNC mobile banking app. Eligible PNC Bank account and PNC Bank Online Banking required. Certain other restrictions apply. See the mobile banking terms and conditions in the PNC Online Banking Service Agreement.

  3. Zelle® should only be used to send or receive money with people you know and trust. Before using Zelle® to send money, you should confirm the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number. Neither PNC nor Zelle® offers a protection program for authorized payments made with Zelle®. Zelle® is available to almost anyone with a bank account in the U.S. Transactions typically occur in minutes between enrolled users. If the recipient has not enrolled, the payment will expire after 14 calendar days. See the PNC Zelle Terms of Use for additional terms and conditions.  Use of Zelle® is subject to and conditional upon adherence to the terms and conditions of the PNC Zelle® Terms of Use.
