How to Link Your PNC Account(s) to Venmo or another Online or Mobile Financial Service

In order to link your PNC account to an online or mobile financial service (such as Venmo℠[1], Acorns®, etc.), we require verification of account ownership as an additional security measure. Account ownership must be verified using a one-time passcode sent by PNC directly to your mobile device.

Link your PNC accounts to Venmo

In order to provide Venmo with your account information, you can manually add a bank account or card by following these steps:

  1. Obtain your account number and routing number from a check or via Online Banking.  For more information on finding your routing number »
  2. Visit help.venmo.com and click Bank Accounts & Cards.
  3. Click Adding a Bank Account or Adding a Credit or Debit Card for instructions.
  4. Once added, Venmo may send microtransfers and ask you to verify the amounts received with them to verify account ownership. PNC will send you security alerts when microtransfers are observed on your PNC account.
