Find Your User ID or Reset Your Password

In the PNC Mobile app:

These steps are to reset your password – you’ll need your PNC user ID, the last 8 digits of your debit card number, your ATM PIN and the last 4 digits of your Social Security or Tax ID Number.

If you don’t have this information, we recommend you call us.

If you forgot your user ID, we recommend you use Online Banking to retrieve it.

  1. From the sign in screen, select Reset Password.
  2. Confirm you have the required information and select Continue with Reset.
  3. Verify your information.
  4. Enter your new password twice to confirm it.
  5. Select Submit to reset your password.

In Online Banking:

  1. From the pnc.com homepage, select Sign On.
  2. Select Forgot user ID or Password?
  3. Verify your information and choose how to receive a one-time passcode.
  4. Enter the one-time passcode you receive.
  5. If you previously indicated that you did not know your user ID, it will be displayed.
  6. Enter your new password twice to confirm it.
  7. Select Reset Password to change your password and reset your access.
  8. Select Return to Sign On to sign on with your user ID and new password.

Locked Out of Your Account?

If you’ve been locked out of Online and Mobile Banking for too many incorrect sign on attempts, you must reset your password to re-establish access.
