Your New Credit Card Is Coming This Summer – Here’s What To Know:

What You'll Get

FirstBank consumer credit card customers will receive a PNC Cash Rewards® credit card that helps maximize rewards on everyday spending. Cards will ship starting June 19.

What You'll Need to Do

Activate your new credit card when it arrives through the PNC Mobile app, PNC Online Banking, or by calling 1-888-513-4622. When you activate your new PNC Bank credit card, the corresponding FirstBank credit card will be deactivated. On September 15, 2026, your FirstBank credit card(s) will be automatically deactivated.

What to Remember

You will need to update any recurring payments you have set up with merchants once you activate your new PNC Cash Rewards® credit card. Your account number stays the same, but your credit card will have a new expiration date and 3-digit security code.

Earn 4% on gas station purchases, 3% on dining purchases at restaurants, and 2% on grocery store purchases for the first $8,000 in combined purchases[1] in these categories annually.[2] Earn 1% cash back on all other purchases[3] everywhere.

On June 23, your unredeemed FirstBank rewards will be transferred to your PNC Cash Rewards cash back balance. You will be able to redeem your rewards any time your cash back balance is at least $25.

To see your cash back:

  1. Sign on to Online Banking.
  2. Select your credit card account.
  3. Under Account Actions, select Rewards.

After your account transitions to PNC Bank, your statement delivery will default to paper statements. You can choose to switch to paperless statements at any time in PNC Online Banking.

Starting June 22nd, you will get access to the PNC Mobile app and PNC Online Banking.

Your due date may change after your credit card account transitions to a PNC Cash Rewards® credit card account Please be sure to check the due date and payment instructions on your PNC Bank credit card statements on and after June 19, 2026.

If your FirstBank credit card account is a secured account, it will transition to a PNC Cash Rewards account, which is an unsecured account, on June 19, but the hold on your deposit account will be released earlier, on June 3, 2026.

With PNC Online Banking[5] and the PNC Mobile app[6], you can easily manage your credit card accounts by viewing your account summary and transactions, making payments, setting up recurring payments and alerts, adding your credit card to a digital wallet, accessing online statements, redeeming rewards, and reporting your credit card lost or stolen.
