How to Enroll in Text Banking

You'll need to enroll a valid U.S. mobile number to use Text Banking. By enrolling your number, you can also choose to receive alerts to that number.

  1. Sign on to Online Banking.
  2. Select the profile and settings icon (it looks like a silhouette of a person).
  3. Select Alerts and Communications.
  4. Select Text Banking.
  5. If you're already enrolled, your number will appear at the top, in the Text Banking Settings section. To edit it, select Edit underneath the number.
  6. To enroll a new phone number: select Manage Your Phone Numbers, then Add Phone on the screen that appears. Complete any verification required on the next step, which may include a one-time passcode sent to your current cell phone number, and confirm your enrollment.
  7. To set up text banking or edit your settings, select Manage Text Banking Settings.

You'll need to enroll a valid U.S. mobile number to use Text Banking. By enrolling your number, you can also choose to receive alerts to that number.
  1. Sign in to the PNC Mobile app.
  2. Select the menu, then select View Profile & Settings.
  3. Select Personal Information. If you're already enrolled, your number will appear.
  4. If your number doesn't appear, select Add Mobile Number.
  5. Enter your information and select Send Passcode.
  6. You'll receive a One-Time Passcode to your phone. Enter it to complete your enrollment.

Nickname your accounts so you can tell the difference between them at a glance. To change your account nicknames, sign on to Online Banking and go to the Mobile Banking section.

You may receive multiple text messages in response to any prompt, as text messages are limited to 160 characters.
