PNC Wire Transfer Options

Here's what you'll need to send money domestically and internationally. 

Domestic Wires

Send money within the U.S. with a domestic wire transfer. 

You'll need the recipient's:

  • Name (person or business)
  • Address
  • U.S. Bank Routing number
  • Account Number

IMPORTANT: Be sure to always verify this information directly with the recipient for accuracy.

 

International Wires

Send money to people and businesses around the world with an international wire transfer.

You'll need the recipient's:

  • Name (person or business)
  • Address
  • Either an international bank account number (IBAN) or a full account number and SWIFT code (also known as a routing BIC)

IMPORTANT: Be sure to always verify this information directly with the recipient for accuracy.

How To Send and Receive a Wire Transfer With PNC

You can request a domestic or international wire from any personal PNC checking or savings account. Only send money to people and businesses you know and trust.

In Online Banking:

Send a Domestic Wire Transfer

  1. Sign on to Online Banking.
  2. Select Pay and Transfer.
  3. Select Wires and International Transfers.
  4. Select Send a Domestic Wire. If it’s your first time, you’ll need to accept the terms and conditions.
  5. Enter your recipient’s information and transfer details and select Submit.
  6. Verify your identity to complete the transfer.

Send an International Wire or International Money Transfer

  1. Sign on to Online Banking.
  2. Select Pay and Transfer.
  3. Select Wires and International Transfers.
  4. Select Make an International Transfer.
  5. If it’s your first time, you’ll need to accept the terms and conditions.
  6. Enter your recipient’s information and transfer details and select Submit.
  7. Verify your identity to complete the transfer.

If you have additional questions, select select Help on the right hand side of your PNC Online Banking Accounts tab.

In the PNC Mobile app:

  1. Sign in to the PNC Mobile app.
  2. Select Transfer.
  3. Choose either Send a Domestic Wire or Send an International Transfer.

You can also visit a branch to make a wire transfer or International Money Transfer. Find a branch.

To receive a domestic or international wire transfer, you'll need to provide your bank information to the sender. The sender may also need your address, phone number or email address. Only provide your account and personal information to people you know and trust.

For domestic wires, give the sender:

  • Your PNC account number
  • PNC's wire routing number, which is 043000096

For international wires, give the sender:

  • Your PNC account number
  • PNC's SWIFT code, which is PNCCUS33
