What to Watch For

If you have a mortgage, you’ll receive a Notice of Servicing Transfer letter in the mail with specific information about your loan.

Important account-specific details will be mailed to the primary account holder. Depending on your banking relationship, this information may arrive in separate envelopes.

These mailings will continue for a couple of weeks and possibly into June. Debit cards and credit cards are sent in unbranded envelopes.

A welcome packet containing some general information about PNC and what to expect will be sent to all FirstBank customers with a valid address on file.

What to Do

Open all envelopes. Carefully, no paper cuts!

Review the information you receive.

If you have any concerns about how your account information is noted in the communication, contact FirstBank at 800-964-3444.

If you haven’t already done so, check to be sure your contact information is up to date at FirstBank.

If you are an online banking user, you may be provided with access to this information in April through FirstBank Online Banking or the FirstBank Mobile App.

Note: If you have a credit card, your account number will remain the same but the expiration date and CVV code on the new card you receive will be different.

Yes. The bank routing/transit number will change. The new bank routing/transit number will be noted in the detailed communication that you receive along with your new account number in May.

Deposit Account Checks, Debit Cards & Transactions

For now, your accounts, services, and fee structures remain the same. Review the detailed information that you receive for each of your products which will include any important dates for any changes.

Our goal is to ensure customers understand their options and feel confident in the value of their banking relationship. More details about your accounts, services and fee structures will be provided in the May 2026 timeframe.

If you received your card but haven’t activated it yet, your FirstBank card will continue to work. Once you activate your new PNC card, your FirstBank card will no longer work.

If you believe you need a replacement PNC Banking (ATM) or Debit card for any reason, you may request one beginning June 22 through PNC Online Banking, the PNC Mobile app, or by visiting your local branch or calling the PNC Customer Care Center.

We expect these transactions to continue without interruption. However, we recommend you make sure the originators have your new account and routing/transit numbers.

Direct deposits or other recurring payments to Time Savings and Time Savings – IRA accounts will not continue as of June 19, 2026.

PNC does not provide an option to opt out of this process.

Overdraft Protection links your checking account (a “Protected Account”) with up to two other eligible PNC accounts (called your Protecting Accounts) so that you can use available funds from the Protecting Account to cover overdrafts on your Protected Account.

Important: If you currently have a FirstBank savings or money market account set up to be protected by another account for overdraft protection purposes, it will no longer be eligible to be protected at PNC.

Credit Card Account (Business and Consumer), Cards and Transactions

No. Your credit card number will remain the same, however your expiration date and CVV code will change.

We will send a Change in Terms letter in April that will inform you of your account terms effective June 19, 2026.

No. However, once you receive your new expiration date and code, it is a good idea to share your updated information with your service provider for their records. This means as soon as you activate your new credit card you will need to update any recurring payments you have set up with merchants.

Credit cards will be mailed during the week of conversion. They are sent in an unbranded envelope.

Depending on your mail service, your card may arrive after June 22. Your FirstBank credit card will continue to work until you receive and activate your new PNC card or until September 30, whichever comes first.

To avoid delays, make sure the address associated with your card is up to date.

If you don’t receive your card by the week of July 6th, don’t worry, your FirstBank Credit Card will continue to work until September 30, 2026.

Contact us to request a replacement card and to verify your address.

Once you receive and activate your new PNC card, your FirstBank card will no longer work.

Personal Loans & Lines of Credit

A Change in Terms notice will be sent to you in April 2026 detailing all the changes to your account. Changes will generally align your account terms with PNC’s account servicing policies.

Yes. For Lines of Credit, an individual account statement will be sent 25 days prior to the payment due date. Installment Loan statements will be generated based on your existing agreement. Any change to your payment due date will be detailed in a Change in Terms notice mailed to you in April 2026.

To be sure you receive your statement, make sure your address information is up to date.

The variable rate margin or fixed rate in effect as of 6/19/26 will be used to calculate your interest rate post conversion. If your account has a tiered rate margin that is used to calculate your interest rate, that will no longer continue. For details, see the Change in Terms notice mailed to you in April 2026.

If you have a FirstBank Cash Reserve account, it will be converted to PNC as an overdraft line of credit that can only be advanced to cover an overdraft on the protected account. The protected account is the checking account you've selected to receive advances from the Cash Reserve when an overdraft occurs.

If your FirstBank line of credit has check access, you will receive PNC Bank line of credit checks in a separate mailing. To avoid delays receiving your checks, take a moment to make sure your address is up to date.

We will honor any FirstBank checks presented for payment through September 20, 2026.

For details, see the Change in Terms notice mailed to you in April 2026.

No. Your automatic payments will continue unless otherwise notified.

Automatic payments will be removed if your payment is returned for insufficient funds three times. For details, see the Change in Terms notice mailed to you in April 2026.

Mortgage & Home Equity

The transfer of a mortgage loan to another servicer is common in the industry and does not affect the terms and conditions of your mortgage.

You will receive a Notice of Servicing Transfer letter with details, including the effective date of the transfer, your new account number and information about how you can make your payments to PNC.

Your mortgage loan may transfer to PNC before your other FirstBank accounts.

If you have an escrow established for property tax and insurance, PNC will take over managing it on your behalf. We’ll keep you up to date on any changes to your escrow account.

PNC and FirstBank have been working together closely to develop a thoughtful integration plan that includes aligning clients to the products and services that best fit with their current banking solutions. You will be notified of any changes before they are made.

In the coming months, you’ll begin to learn more about the conversion of your Home Equity account(s). Some of the communications will be sent by mail. Please make sure your mailing address is up to date on your FirstBank products.

The Notice of Servicing Transfer was mailed to you on May 8.

The Notice of Servicing Transfer will be mailed to you on June 1st.

PNC can begin receiving your mortgage payments by mail on June 1. Beginning on June 3, payments can be made at a branch, with a Customer Care Center consultant over the phone, in PNC Online Banking, or through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

Rest assured, during the first 60 days following the transfer, you will not be charged late fees, and no negative credit reporting will occur for any late payments. You may still receive payment reminders, but they won’t impact your account status.

If you set up automatic monthly mortgage payments via ACH at FirstBank, please refer to the Notice of Servicing Transfer letter that was mailed to you on May 8 for more information about the transfer to PNC. If your payment is being automatically drafted by a third party, please notify them of your new loan number and payment mailing address.

If your automatic Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments are continuing at PNC, they will keep the same payment draft date after the loan transfers to PNC. However, PNC may delay the initial (June) ACH payment draft by up to seven business days. This one-time delay will not result in a late payment fee.

You may be invited to enroll in PNC Online Banking before June 1, 2026, through FirstBank Online Banking or the FirstBank Mobile Banking app. We encourage you to do so, so you can be prepared to log in at PNC after the transition.

If you do not enroll early, you will be able to enroll in PNC Online Banking as a first-time user beginning June 3. At pnc.com, select the “Sign On” button at the top of the page. Then, select “Enroll in Online Banking.” During enrollment, you’ll create a PNC user ID and password. These can be the same credentials you use for FirstBank, if they meet PNC’s requirements.

PNC will send you an email on June 3 inviting you to enroll in Online Banking. It may take 5 – 7 business days after the loan transfers for all of your mortgage information to be viewable in Online Banking.

If you have additional non-mortgage accounts with FirstBank, they will transfer to PNC on the weekend of June 19, and they will be visible in PNC Online Banking after June 22.

Your full mortgage payment history will be viewable in PNC Online Banking beginning 5-7 business days after the loan transfers.

Online Banking recurring payments that were established at FirstBank will end when your account converts to PNC. If you’d like to continue your online recurring payments, you’ll need to set up a new one in PNC Online Banking.

Your mortgage account is transferring to PNC on June 1, but FirstBank deposit accounts will not transfer to PNC until the weekend of June 19. Your mortgage account will be fully boarded to PNC systems by June 3, and at that time, you can make your payment using one of the following methods:

  • In Online Banking using an external one-time payment
    • Important: For June payments, only using a FirstBank checking account will be considered an external payment.
  • Over the phone with a customer service agent
  • Using the automated phone system (IVR)
  • By mail

After your FirstBank deposit account has transferred to PNC and is visible in PNC Online Banking, you can establish recurring payments as well as future-dated payments.

Safe Deposit Box

No. Your current Safe Deposit Box rental agreement will continue under PNC Bank.

Safe Deposit Box owners will receive details about PNC Safe Deposit Box fees in May or early June. Your Safe Deposit Box annual rental fee will remain the same and follow your existing rental agreement. If you are currently receiving a FirstBank Safe Deposit Box discount, it will be discontinued effective June 19, 2026.

Your annual rental fee will continue to follow your existing rental agreement.

  • You will receive a reminder one month before your annual rental fee is due.
  • The rental fee is due on the 15th day of the anniversary month of your Safe Deposit Box rental date.

If you previously set up automatic payments from a FirstBank checking or savings account, your automatic payment will continue automatically at PNC—no action is needed. You will also receive a $5 annual rental discount for having an automatic payment in place.

If you do not already have automatic payments established or if you open a new PNC checking or savings account, you will gain the ability to set up an automatic payment and receive a $5 discount off your annual rental fee.

Any delinquent Safe Deposit Box accounts will be reset to a rented status, and no past-due payments will carry over after the transition. You will simply receive your next annual rental notice as usual.

Digital Banking

No. You must follow a few steps before using PNC Online Banking or the PNC Mobile app. One of these steps includes accepting the PNC agreements.

Depending on your account type, you may be eligible to enroll in PNC Digital Banking through FirstBank Online Banking or the FirstBank Mobile app prior to June 22.

Beginning May 1, you can check to see if you’re eligible:

  1. Log in to FirstBank Online Banking or the FirstBank Mobile app
  2. Look for a message to set up a PNC digital profile or enroll in PNC Digital Banking

If you don’t see a message, you'll be able to enroll on pnc.com, on or after June 22.

You'll need:

  • Your Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. If you do not have one on file with FirstBank, consider adding it prior to June 22.
  • Access to the phone and email associated with your FirstBank accounts

Once you enroll, you'll have access to:

  • View your PNC account numbers
  • Confirm your contact information

And you’ll be ready to do your banking on June 22.

Beginning June 22, 2026, if you want to use these similar services at PNC, you’ll need to re-establish them within PNC Online Banking or Mobile Banking:

  • Security preferences, like Face ID, on your mobile device
  • Payments to or from people you know and trust with Zelle®

  • Connections with financial apps that use your accounts, including Venmo, Cash App, Rocket Money, Quicken® and/or QuickBooks®
  • External transfers to accounts you own with other financial institutions
  • Payments to loans from accounts at other banks
  • Account nicknames

If you are a current active user of Bill Pay, yes, your payees will transfer. Any customer who is not a current, active user will receive a letter notifying you of any required actions to be able to take advantage of the PNC Bill Pay service.

Online Banking recurring or future-dated payments that were established in FirstBank Online Banking will end when your account converts to PNC. Any payment scheduled for June 19 or later won’t be processed. If you’d like to continue your online recurring payments, you’ll need to set up a new one in PNC Online Banking beginning June 22, 2026.

To allow you time to set up a new payment, PNC will automatically waive any late fee incurred on the affected lending account for 60 days after the account transfers to PNC.

Account Transformation Confirmation (ATC)

This mailing provides your PNC account number(s), bank routing number(s), and important details for most of your Consumer or Business accounts and services. It’s important that you read this information thoroughly prior to June 22, 2026. You may receive multiple ATCs depending on your full banking relationship.

The ATC is mailed only to the primary account holder at the address of the primary account holder. Joint account holders do not receive an ATC.

If you have both Consumer and Business products, you will receive an ATC with your Consumer products and a second ATC with your Business products.

There could be a few reasons:

  1. If you are not the primary account holder, for example, if you are the joint account holder, the information will not appear on your ATC, it will appear on the ATC of the primary account holder.
  2. If you have both business and consumer accounts, separate ATCs were generated for those accounts.
  3. The information for certain products was sent in separate communications. Mortgage, Consumer and Business Credit Cards, IRAs, CollegeInvest, FirstBank Health Savings, Treasury Management, Colorado Association of Realtors, and Analysis Business Checking with Interest (Related Interest Group) accounts all received separate communications.

If you are not a primary account holder on any account, you will not receive an ATC. Connect with the primary account holder to review this information.

If you are a primary account holder and have not received your ATC by May 29, 2026, contact the First Bank Contact Center. They can assist you with getting a replacement copy.

On or after June 22, 2026, you may obtain your ATC in PNC Online Banking or the PNC Mobile app, or you can visit your local branch.

Information for Business & Commercial Customer

Someone who has been designated with significant responsibility to control, manage or financially direct the business. The controlling party could be an executive officer, senior manager or similar. The controlling party may or may not be the beneficial owner. PNC requires one person in this role for each business entity.

The controlling party has full access to PNC Online and Mobile Banking. These features include:

  • PNC Mobile app
  • Zelle®
  • Mobile check deposit
  • Wire Transfers
  • Account Linking
  • Account Delegation

Account Delegation allows businesses to assign Online Banking tasks to those you trust to pay bills from designated accounts, transfer funds between eligible accounts and more.

The controlling party for the business is responsible for creating and managing delegate access in Online Banking. The controlling party can choose to give delegates access to:

  • Account balances, transactions and cash flow tools
  • Statements, documents and check images
  • Bill Pay
  • Internal transfers
  • Pay Receive Sync (PNC's billing and invoicing tool)
  • Remote Deposit (PNC's desktop scanner and software for check deposits)

Delegate account access is restricted to PNC Online Banking. They can’t get support at a branch or through the Care Center.

Learn more about setting up Account Delegation for PNC Digital Banking and know what to expect.

Users with a Transfer or Inquiry relationship on a business account at FirstBank can be invited to enroll as delegates at PNC. At PNC, delegates are managed through PNC Online Banking by the controlling party.

The business controlling party can invite delegate users to enroll in Online Banking starting June 22, 2026.

For steps on how to invite a delegate to enroll, check out the Account Delegation digital tutorial.

Once enrolled, delegates will have access to PNC Online Banking only. Delegates won’t be able to use the PNC Mobile app and cannot be serviced by the branch or care center.

Visit your local FirstBank branch to update the necessary information for your accounts. This will include reviewing the controlling party and any authorized signer on your accounts.

The FirstBank branch team will assist you with any additional steps, including providing you information on how to select the controlling party to take actions on your accounts.

To make sure your data transfers completely from FirstBank to PNC, and to avoid any interruptions in access, you’ll need to review and update your controlling party and authorized signer information at FirstBank before June 18, 2026.

Businesses that do not have a controlling party on file will experience limited access to PNC Online Banking until that information is provided.
