An update on your FirstBank account conversion to PNC

Timeline

Please review the information for May and June

Timelines on this page provide key dates and key activities leading up to June 22, 2026. They're intended to help you prepare but may not include every activity for every customer. Refer to the communications that you receive directly for more specific information.

May

What to Watch For

Important account-specific details will be mailed to the primary account holder. Depending on your banking relationship, this information may arrive in separate envelopes.

These mailings will continue for a couple of weeks and possibly into June. Debit cards and credit cards are sent in unbranded envelopes.

A welcome packet containing some general information about PNC and what to expect will be sent to all FirstBank customers with a valid address on file.

If you have a mortgage, you’ll receive a Notice of Servicing Transfer letter in the mail with specific information about your loan. Excludes construction loans and lot loans. If you have one of these loan types, your Notice of Servicing Transfer letter will be mailed to you on June 1.

What to Do

Open all envelopes. Carefully, no paper cuts!

Review the information you receive.

If you have any concerns about how your account information is noted in the communication, contact FirstBank at 800-964-3444.

If you haven’t already done so, check to be sure your contact information is up to date at FirstBank.

June

What to Know

By now, you should have received your new debit card and a letter that tells you which accounts can be accessed with your cards.

If you have a mortgage, the servicing of your mortgage will transfer to PNC effective June 1. Review the Mortgage & Home Equity section below for more details. If you have a construction loan or lot loan, it will transfer to PNC effective June 19.

It’s time to get ready. We’ve outlined what you can expect for each date of the conversion weekend (June 18 – June 22).

How to Prepare

Plan to do as much of your banking as you can prior to June 18 – including online bill payments or transfers. Or, if it can wait, try your new PNC tools on June 22.

Reread the documents you received from PNC, particularly those containing your old product information and new product information. Ask any last-minute questions!

What to do before conversion weekend

  • Bookmark this page. If we need to notify you of any delays or other important matters, we will do so here.
  • Plan ahead to get your banking done. After Thursday, June 18, you will not be able to perform transaction at a branch or in digital banking until Monday, June 22. Get important branch or online banking transactions completed by June 18 (by noon at a branch, or by 8:00 PM MT in digital banking) or prepare to hold them until June 22.
  • Gather all of your new account numbers. Most of these were sent to you in the Account Transfer Confirmation mailing, but some were sent separately. You may need to pull a few mailings together to view the account numbers for your entire banking relationship.
  • Gather all of your new PNC debit, banking and credit cards. Follow the instructions on the activation stickers. Remember, your old FirstBank cards will work until you activate your new PNC cards. Don’t destroy your old card until you’ve activated your new card.
  • Make a list of any merchants or service providers where you’ve established payment with your account number and bank routing number. While not necessary, we strongly recommend you notify these providers of your new numbers to avoid processing or research delays. Examples include automated payments at utility companies, memberships, or payments through financial apps that connect to your account, like Venmo or Cash App.
  • Download the PNC Mobile app now. Be ready to do your banking on Monday.
  • Set your Digital Banking priorities. You may need to reestablish or reset some Online Banking functions, features or preferences. Review the information about some key features below so you know what’s important for you to do first.
  • Relax, enjoy the long weekend. On Monday, your branch teams, your bankers and everyone here at PNC will be ready to help.
